Dr. Elizabeth Schuler
Our orthodontist, Dr. Schuler, is a Portland native who has enjoyed living in various regions of the country during her undergraduate education and professional training. She earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish Language & Composition and completed her dental education at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.
Dr. Schuler began her dental career practicing in a children's dental office in Kentucky, then relocated to South Carolina, where she held a faculty position in the College of Dental Medicine — teaching dental courses, supervising student clinics, mentoring students conducting research, and treating her own patients in a faculty private practice. After several years practicing dentistry, she moved to New York to complete specialty training in orthodontics at NYU Medical Center. She then returned to Portland and purchased Rockwood Orthodontics.
With over 15 years of experience and specialized training in a wide variety of complex clinical cases, Dr. Schuler is uniquely equipped to treat patients of all backgrounds and needs — from simple to complex surgical cases.
